The video transcript discusses how to create night vision goggles using a camera, an IR lens, and an infrared light source. The process involves making the camera IR sensitive by adding the IR lens and pairing it with an IR light source to enable night vision. The speaker suggests purchasing a cheap night vision camcorder from Amazon for a simpler solution. They mention facing a ban on Instagram and hint at discontinuing their content on the platform.
I should not be doing this. This is how you make your own night vision goggles for just a couple bucks. Making night vision is actually extremely easy, but making it look cool is kind of difficult. The first thing you need is any camera. It can be an old digital camera, your phone camera, or a GoPro, but here I've bought a specific one just for this video off of Amazon. If you bought a camcorder, you can just skip this step because most of them are already IR sensitive, but if yours isn't, you're going to need to buy an IR lens. I got mine for seven bucks off Amazon, and essentially you're just going to put this up to your camera. Now that we've paired our camera up with our lens, our camera is now IR sensitive. Now this is entirely useless unless we have infrared light, which you can easily acquire by buying an 850 rated IR flashlight off of Amazon for like 11 bucks. But I bought this IR emitting diode because it fits to my camera. Just like your standard camera can pick up this type of light, our special IR camera picks up infrared light, which is invisible to us, but visible to the camera. Now just pair all this stuff together and you have night vision. It's that easy. Now to make this way easier on yourself, just go to Amazon and buy one of those cheap night vision camcorders, and then duct tape an IR flashlight to it, and that'll work way better than this. The only problem is a flashlight strapped to a camera doesn't look cool, so…

Also, I'm banned for three days because people keep reporting me, kind of making me realize that this whole Instagram thing is probably a limited series anyways, so see ya.
