How To Pick Locks (NO TOOLS)

How To Pick Locks (NO TOOLS)

The video explores the concept of using thermite to melt through locks, referencing a scenario from Breaking Bad. The attempt to use thermite fails due to the high temperature required for it to melt. Alternative methods such as using a saw, lock picking, and wrenches are demonstrated as more practical options to gain access to locks. The video suggests homemade thermite as a quieter and faster solution, while also providing insights on breaking combination locks by identifying loose numbers on the dial. Multiple methods are tested with varying levels of success and efficiency.

There's one million dollars behind this door and the only thing stopping you from getting to it is this padlock and this one in Breaking Bad episode 7 they use thermite to melt through a lock. Does this actually work? Well to find out we're gonna need to make some thermite along with our thermite I'll also be testing five separate methods to get through our locks to see which one is the fastest Quietest and the tracks the least attention now in the movie They take thermite and they put it inside of a plastic bag just like this and it's actually extremely simple You haven't seen my video already made about it All you need is a charging cable and some aluminum foil and if for some reason that guide still isn't taken down by the time You've gotten here. You've got to go watch it They also choose to tape up their thermite and I guess is this so they can carry it and later place it on top of The lock now theoretically it should be able to melt one of our locks because this stuff burns at 2,000 degrees Celsius Now before I do this I have four locks to choose from there are made out of hardened steel and this last one's mad in Taiwan And it's also probably made out of hardened steel in the show They hold a torch on the thermite for two seconds, and that's enough to light it off. So let's go test it out Who Yeah, I'm not surprised This doesn't work because thermite requires an extremely high temperature to melt an…

There's one million dollars behind this door and the only thing stopping you from getting to it is this padlock and this one in Breaking Bad episode 7 they use thermite to melt through a lock. So let's go test it out Who Yeah, I'm not surprised This doesn't work because thermite requires an extremely high temperature to melt and you know this if you watch that super cool video Regardless, we're using magnesium to light it off. So you placed our thermite right on top of our lock. Let's go ahead and see if this work Whoa, oh the lock is actually perfectly fine now This doesn't surprise me mainly because I've already seen like 10 videos disproving it But there might be a way to make it work to do this. We have a couple options. We can raise the temperature That's about it to do this we can either add more aluminum or you can add some copper powder Which you know how to get if you watch that really cool video I made on homemade thermite and this time we'll be fully submerging our lock this time We're using a titanium cup because with our enhanced mixture, it'll melt through most materials We'll also be submerging it entirely to ensure the best results I Hope that worked the answer is no it didn't but maybe extreme temperature change might do the trick All right. Let's try and break it Would you look at that I'm a genius I have no idea what I did But I'm assuming I melted some of the internals and when I cooled it down really rapidly They became brittle then when I threw it they shattered unlike all those other lame youtubers I was able to get mine to work, but this comes with a problem. That was way too loud Way too bright and took way too long And I don't want people to know when I get my million dollars because then they'll come after me So let's explore some other options or all my fellow slow people out there We can just use a salsa and becoming skilled with these can earn you quite a lot of money per hour Let's see how long it takes to cut through a lock I Cut through the wrong side though, that's unfortunate I should have looked at that first after looking back at the footage It took us 56 seconds to cut through this lock and a 20 second break because my arm was hurting so to be safe We'll call it 40 seconds to get through a lock with a salsa But these things are way too expensive and I can't afford one. So instead we can do something else for $90 I was able to afford this I was able to afford this really nice lock picking set So it's a third of the price, but it's still not free So you should go watch that really cool video I made on how to do homemade thermite from a charging cable and aluminum foil That took me about three seconds and it was completely quiet prove that's not a fluke. Let's try it again. Oh That's embarrassing Wow Literally the same time three seconds, but I'm not a wuss So let's go ahead and try and single pin picket now by no means an expert that took me about 45 seconds to do If you guys would like to see a full video on lock picking I could totally do it I just realized I didn't capture the footage. So let's go ahead and do this again. I Think I might have broken the lock because there's no pins inside now This is great, but no one wants to spend that much money on a lock picking set So I'll show you how to make your very own with some paper clips grab yourself two paper clips and then a pair of pliers These pliers aren't necessary, but it makes the job quite a lot easier Take your first clip and then bend it straight just like this add a little bend to the end if you want It doesn't make it slightly easier. Now. The second one is just a little bit harder Go ahead and flatten it out Just like you did for the first one Now you're gonna grab your pliers and make a bend halfway through take the long end and bend it in a 90-degree angle From your first bend our picks work in two ways Our first one is applying tension to the lock and the second one is picking the pins As you can see while this works it requires way too much effort and I don't like that So let me show you possibly the easiest method to get into a lock or a last method Just go ahead and grab two wrenches for this one place them inside and apply tension just like this Well, I've been to really far I guess everyone lines is it requires no strength that's cap it took everything I had to break through this Lock, maybe it's because they're using smaller ones that aren't built like this So you see it does work, but it's much better suited for combination locks, which brings me to my next point What if your 1 million dollars is stuck behind a combination lock? Well, I already have a dedicated video on this I'll show you anyways, essentially the entire time you're going to pull really hard on the shackle while you're doing this You're going to feel the numbers the ones that have a lot of wiggle are going to be the correct numbers in this case 704 are correct, but the last one doesn't wiggle at all when I switch it over to three it pops open That was my last one. I ruined like five locks. It's making this video. So you should subscribe But before you do that, you should go watch that really cool video I made on how to make home a thermite with a charging cable and aluminum foil
