DIY science lighter trick educational

The video demonstrates an exploding lighter trick using a piece of flint found in lighters. The process involves carefully removing the flint from the lighter and wrapping it with a spring, then igniting it to create an explosion when thrown on the ground. The trick is showcased, where the flint explodes when ignited, creating a visually impressive effect.

This is the exploding lighter trick. I'm going to show you how to do it. As you know, lighters need a little piece of flint to strike. But this stuff, if you light it on fire and throw it at the ground, it'll actually explode. Some people already know that. But I'm going to show you something that almost nobody knows. For only 10 bucks, you can buy 1000 of those flint strikers. I'm going to show you how to take it out. But remember, this is only the first of two explosives inside of this lighter. It's actually quite simple. You just have to carefully remove this without the spring fully pushing that piece of flint out. And you see, we got it. Now, this is how you use it. Take the spring out of the lighter and wrap it around your piece of flint. It should look a little bit something like this. Now you just need to light it. But you might have realized that you just ruined your only light. So you got to use a match to light the lighter. And then you use the lighter to light the little piece of flint right here. OK, so it started glowing. And once it's done this, it's done. Oh, shoot. So mine blew up in my hand, but you're supposed to light it and throw it on the ground and then it shatters everywhere and it looks super cool. Let's test it out. It can take a minute sometimes. You just got to get one of them to ignite. And the second that it starts glowing, you're done. Here we go. This is the exploding.
